A selection of great watches was led by a rare Patek Philippe Worldtime pocket watch 605HU. The Worldtime was expected to fetch between $60,000.00 and $75,000.00, it sold for $97,200.00 with premium.  A rare Patek Philippe Ricochet pocket watch by Gilbert Albert was estimated at $12,500.00 to $15,000,00, it sold for $23,400.00 with premium.  Sebastien Baer, the auction chairman for Baer & Bosch Auctioneers, was extremely pleased with the sales results especially for the Patek Phillipe watches.  There were over 200 registered bidders from the United States and 28 other countries from Europe, Asia, Oceania, and South America bidding live online, phone, and absentee.  The top Patek Philippe lots were sold to European phone bidders.  This fabulous watch collection was assembled by an American collector during his travels around the world such as London, Zurich, Paris, and Geneva.

A second part of the collection will be offered at Baer & Bosch Auctioneers in the fall.  Future highlights will include a rare Breguet Split Second chronograph with Breguet archive papers (estimate: $15,000 - $25,000).  Also from the same collection, a platinum Breguet Jump Hour  (estimate: $17,000 - $27,000) a group of Patek Philippe desk clocks among other rare pieces.  We will keep you posted on the details as they appear.
